EyeSeePaTTernS

Areas of Expertise
Observation of and interaction with learners whilst they are performing tasks, identifying patterns in their learning process to inform and create optimal learning opportunities that become both transferrable and self directed
Observation of and Interaction with Learners
At EyeSeePaTTernS we work either in a 1-2-1 setting or with small groups and use all curriculum areas or life experiences to observe individual patterns of functioning in order to create optimal learning processes and outcomes for each learner.
Literacy Learning
Learning of the English alphabetic code using a structured, multi-sensory approach. Unlike traditional programmes, the structure is sensitive to the learner's patterns of association, creating opportunity for an individualised learning pathway, facilitating the best learning outcomes.
Support of Individuals with Neurodivergent Profiles
Development of confidence, resilience, independence and learning processes of students that have not only been diagnosed with dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism, ADHD, complex expressive and receptive language challenges (and more) from young school aged children through to university undergraduates and graduates but also those who are seeking to better understand their learning process in order to optimise outcomes.
Study Skills Programmes
Support that focuses on time management, note-taking
techniques, reading and comprehension, exam preparation, memory techniques, critical thinking and problem solving, organisation and productivity

Our Approach
The EyeSeePaTTernS Methodology Explained
At EyeSeePaTTernS, we believe in learning holistically. An individual's personal well-being, emotional resilience, and academic growth are deeply intertwined. True independent learning happens when we understand not just what we are learning, but how our unique brain processes and interacts with information.
We recognise that every learning profile is complex. Some traits are context dependent gifts that thrive in the right environment. Others such as verbal memory limits or slower processing speeds are genuine, biological barriers that cause immense academic stress and frustration. We explicitly acknowledge that these struggles are hard and never a reflection of your intellect, capability, or ultimate potential.
By identifying your unique learning patterns, embracing radical self-acceptance, and moving away from traditional, tutor led delivery, we aim to create positive, proactive environments for learning, transforming individuals into confident, self-advocating, and completely autonomous learners who can successfully navigate their own worlds.
Observation
Carefully identify and document recurring behaviours, thoughts, and specific learning patterns. Through guided activities and mindful attention, we map out how you naturally process, absorb, and respond to new information. We track these habits across different environments to reveal both your innate gifts and where cognitive frustration or processing blocks occur.
Reflection
Delve deeper to interpret the significance of observed patterns, gaining insights into motivations, triggers and their impact on personal development and academic learning.
Application
Translate pattern knowledge into personalised, actionable strategies, developing practical skills and adaptive approaches to navigate challenges and enhance effectiveness.
Celebration
Acknowledge and honour innate gifts or strengths within a profile and progress within areas of challenge, recognising achievements and leveraging newfound strengths to foster continuous growth and a positive self-perception.
