“eyeseepatterns” is a concept / phrase that I came up with after watching Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel, a few years back. As a textile artist I (eye) constantly see textures, shapes and forms in everything. I am endlessly inspired by bold color combinations and quirky patterns. Ever since then I knew I wanted to create my own surface design studio with “eyeseepatterns”.

For the past year and half, I worked in fast fashion and observed a lot of business structures that were unethical and unsustainable. Everyday I felt guiltier at the fact that I am knowingly contributing to a vicious cycle of consumerism and waste. Right now, it is time to put profit aside and give back to our planet and start the much needed change in the fashion industry. I seek out collaborations with like minded creatives and brands that share the same concerns about our planet and people.
